The event has been running for around 15 years I was told. Heres a few pics bellow, and also follow the links above to find out more. Thanks to Mr Cenz for inviting me to the event and for all his hard work. All the graffiti work is now being shown in the squre out side the ritz in Brixton.
Meeting of Styles UK is a free, family friendly, block party for the graffiti and hip hop community - a celebration of spraycan art and hip hop culture. Taking place from midday to midnight on August 13th, it's conveniently located behind Holloway Tube Station.
The original “International Meeting of Styles” is an global network of aerosol artists and aficionados that began in Wiesbaden, Germany, in 2002. Brought together and inspired by a passion for graffiti, MOS aims to create a forum for the international art community to communicate, assemble, and exchange ideas, work and skills. In the spirit of cooperation and promotion, MOS has developed a worldwide calendar of events in sixteen different countries, working with local organisations to produce exciting annual productions.
The UK event is managed by London based company EndoftheLine. If you'd like to get involved, come down or have any queries don't hesitate to get in touch with them!
Check out their facebook page for more pics and their web site.
Also check out the original meeting of styles site to se what goes on around the globe at MOS events...

Heres useful some links for you to check out END OF THE LINE, INK AND CLOG , TIZER
Looking forward to painting at this years Roskilde festival in Denmark with fellow IDiots Pref and Tizer this summer. Sounds like its going to be a lot of fun and there will also be a mass of great writers from around the globe to meet and paint with.
Had a quick paint yesterday with some mates in Birmingham.
I painted a sketch I did the other day when looking at the back of peoples heads, I enjoyed not having to paint the face which made it a lot quicker to paint at a larger scale.
Not sure about the back of the jacket, tried to make it look like the character had hand painted it on there himself. He's just not as good at painting as me so thats my excuse...
Pref mentioned it might be good to do some paintings of the back of animals heads, so think I'll have a go at it and see what comes out.
Heres some pics of the rest of the wall.
Presenting the latest issue of 6YL Magazine.
Last year I was lucky enough to be chosen to submit some illustrations to the third issue of the Melbourne based 6YL Magazine titled INSTINCT.
Each artist had to submit their interpretations of the word ‘Instinct’.
This issue contains work from a bunch of talented artist from around the globe. I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a copy and having a good look at how every one approached the subject.
To Purchase a copy or to see the full list of contributors with links to their portfolios visit the new 6YL Magazine site.
MAGAZINES ISSUE THREE : INSTINCT
LIMITED EDITION OF 150
210 mm x 297 mm (A4)
Beautiful UV spot and bronze foiling
300gsm matte art paper cover stock
160 gsm offset paper for inside pages
Pronunciation : /In-stiŋ(k)t/
An innate, typically fixed pattern of behaviour in response to certain stimuli.
Issue 3 was done a little differently this time round. Rather than selecting specific artworks for the magazine, we curated a group of artists based on their existing work. We asked them to give us their unique responses to ‘Instinct’, we wanted their interpretations, their reactions.
The result? Our biggest issue yet, with just under 100 pages of exclusive artwork exploring this idea of ‘Instinct’. All the pieces in the magazine have never been published before. Get your copy today to check out all the fantastic pieces yourself.
LIMITED EDITION OF 150
